As players will for the first time ever, they are thrust into outer space and alien home worlds as they team up with Ben Tennyson and the Omnitrix in order to save the universe. In the game, Ben has created a unique plot which involves him using all 10 of his alien forms to face his greatest enemy, Vilgax, and a set of very dangerous opponents in an effort to stop a master plan to rule the cosmos one planet at a time

In addition to travelling to exotic new worlds, players will also explore previously unseen planets while piloting an upgradeable spacecraft through an asteroid field and enemy spacecraft. Game Story

The narrative begins when Vilgax, with a Null Void projector, invades Earth. to stop Vilgax from acquiring a power source for his Null Void projector, Professor Paradox sends the three Ben Tennyson, Gwen Tennyson, and Kevin Levin back in time. Ben and the rest of his friends work with Ship and Grandpa Max to prevent Vilgax’s evil plans.

The plot begins when Vilgax unleashes the Null Void inmates held captive in the Null Void Projector, resulting in the release of hundreds of Null Void entities. Professor Paradox prevents Ben from transforming into Alien X, since this is not the time to do so. Instead, they each took on the invasion in their own way. While fighting his way to Psyphon, Ben accidentally sets up a Mr. Smoothy sign in the process.

In the process, Ben takes down Mr. Smoothy with only the aliens in his arsenal, with the exception of Cannonbolt and Alien X, and puts the Omnitrix into a reboot (not counting Alien X). As Azmuth looks over Ben’s shoulder, he sees that the Omnitrix has run out of power and he says that it will have to recharge before Ben can access all of the aliens again.

Furthermore, Professor Paradox informs the team that Vilgax has taken over Earth, and since he cannot let that happen, he returns them back in time to find every possible power source that the Null Void Projector would need in the whole galaxy. Instructing them to dispose of these in any way they see fit.

In terms of gameplay, most of the seven worlds contained in the game have puzzles and action in almost equal proportions. Ben may utilise his Humungousaur form to bust through doors, or burn flammable items by using his Swampfire form. There are multiple combos and attacks available for all Aliens, and by beating adversaries and collecting glowing energy orbs, Ben can unlock new skills.

The only other gameplay element that players need be aware of is that Ben’s Omnitrix metre uses up his energy when he uses the form’s innate abilities, thus he can’t use the skills continuously until the metre recharges. Thus, players will have to work on combos while also saving their special attacks for finishing blows.

Despite their best efforts, Vilgax was able to trigger the Null Void projector and set all the monsters free. While in the game, when the aliens announce their names, they sound exactly the same as on the Ultimate Omnitrix toy, only Cannonbolt is distinguished by his original “Game Over” voice.

In an alternate universe, Alien X kept Albedo prisoner for a year (which would have been prevented in the Main Timeline by the safeguard Kevin had the Omnitrix or Ultimatrix placed on it).
